This original Sea Heart Songs piece was painted at the shore using saltwater from the Atlantic Ocean. A soft wash of ocean blue meets the golden whisper of midday sun, carrying the breath of the sea. Hidden in the sky, nearly invisible, is the Old Norse mantra:
“Stilla ek hjarta mitt”
(I still my heart.)
Each painting is one of a kind. Whispered blessings are infused into the canvas which is painted with ocean salt water as part of the Sea Heart Songs ritual and juniper sprigs are sealed with each piece to bring you peace.
